Totally Twilight

5 October 2005: That's when Stephanie Meyer rocked the world with the amazing Twilight series. It did a great job at selling, and was, rather is,extremely popular among teenagers, especially girls, all over the world. While it projected the novel idea of "vegetarian"vampires who sparkle in the sunlight instead of bursting into flame, there were a few basic drawbacks, which ended up slightly marring the otherwise smooth, beautifully written saga.

Well,to begin with the most basic one,the one I'm sure 99.9% of us heartily agree on,is the character of Bella Swan. The rest 0.1% who don't think so,I don't know what's wrong with you :-|
The good thing is that two completely different people, one a 110 year old vampire Edward, flawlessly handsome, strong and immortal and Bella,a 17 year old human, clumsy, awkward and weak, write a supposedly impossible romance. But the bad thing? Yeah,Bella is irritating and a little more than psychotic. All right, its not really expected that she remain calm and sensible throughout everything, but did it actually help when she ran off to Phoenix, nearly getting killed, all the while consistently whining and hyperventilating?Gosh, sometimes, when I think of it,I thoroughly wish James had killed Bella, and Stephanie could create a new heroine, pretty, sensible and a little self sacrifice would be fine actually.Just not a whiny do nothing like Bella .
But I guess we have to accept her as a part of the Cullen family package deal :-D

The other thing I wasn't exactly pleased about was an important detail of the vampires: they SPARKLE. I mean, after I read that,I couldn't exactly blame anyone for calling Edward Cullen a "sparkling fairy". I mean, okay, their skin could look really nice or smooth, but SPARKLE?? I found that a bit ridiculous.Super speed, intelligence, superior looks, power and immortality are pretty much sufficient to make a perfect vampire. We could all do without the extra "glitter glam",thank you very much. The above image is a great example of what kind of jokes are being made about Edward because he,oh,sparkles.

But hey, everything's not bad. There are so many great descriptions, like the part in the meadow, where Edward reveals his true self to Bella.(even though she's too stupid to react properly). Then the great chase in Volterra, what with Alice stealing the Porsche and Bella fighting time and tide in order to save Edward from the Volturi, who have been described very realistically. We can't forget Edward and Seth killing Victoria on the cliff(Again with Bella almost spoiling the fun by hoping to play the sacrificing third wife). And I found myself transported all the way to the sandy shores and swirling waters of the picturesque Isle Esme, it was so magical(or maybe I'm just a huge Twilight fan ;-))
But whatever be the flaws or fine points,I can't really understand people who call the series "gay".I mean,WHAT is perverted in a 110 year old vampire falling in love with a 17 year old girl? The fact that such people thought f it age wise,or whatever, just shows that they have a cheap mentality. It  certainly doesn't do any damage to Edward Cullen, whose character remains loved far and wide. Please tell me of any girl who hasn't fallen for the handsome, strong and fiercely loving Edward Cullen! :-)
Let's face it, no one or nothing is perfect. Its no different with the Twilight saga. But you've got to give it to Stephanie Meyer for giving the world such a legend, for weaving such a lovely tale with the perfect amount of romance,a shot of speed and adrenaline.amazing characters and Edward  Cullen. Thanks,Stephanie, and we hope you come up with more awe inspiring novels.

Studies...the biggest woe of teenage

"Study,or else you won't pass the final exam"....."Study or you won't get the scholarship"..."Study or you won't be able to have a successful life"...Its all the same.Everything starts with "study".That is the life of teenagers.
Our grandparents say "Why,when we were your age,we used to run around and play all day long..that's why we were so fit...and look at you all!"That's when you feel like screaming out at the top of your lungs"How the hell are we supposed to play when all day long we're busy with our schoolwork?" And even if we do say that, our parents and teachers have a reply waiting"Where there's a will, there's a way.If you really want to do something, you'll find ways and means of doing it." blah blah blah. See?No one understands.Only we teens can somehow empathize with each other. It's that pathetic
.And why,oh why are marks given so much importance?I mean, yeah it's important to have knowledge and to be able to earn your own living. But 15 years down the road, who,I ask you,who is going to ask how much we scored in class 10 finals?Hardly anyone. So,isn't it silly to be so hell bent and obsessed about marks and report cards? All right, they would say, that's why the CCE system has been introduced. Now are you satisfied? No.We're not
.The CCE system had some guidelines to reduce pressure on kids....but are they being followed? When the choice of exam is between oral, project, unit test and classwork, why are all of them being dumped onto the students? Are we donkeys?I swear, one wishes something could be done to release us from this prison which is called school and its labours which are studies..Meanwhile: Dear God,it is my sincere request to you-may all the evil forces acting against us students rot in hell forever.May maggots feast on their brains.Amen.

Today's educational system is stomping out the creativity, imagination and most importantly, murdering our happiness.God knows that the future generation is in acute danger concerning their education.

First love....

Hi y'all! I think all of us teens have had the fulfilling experience of first love.Whether the end has been bitter or surprisingly happy,I can't say but this I know for sure: first love is unforgettable. After all,it's the first time we understand exactly why we blush when that someone is around,or when we start associating all the senti love songs with that person. And why the hell are we so confident around our friends, but become an absolute klutz when they're around? Well, then we all know. :-) And that's the phase of life when you're flying, elated in seventh heaven and you feel nothing can go wrong.Ever.You trust that the person you feel so strongly for,the person your heart beats so frantically for, will never let you down.Oh,but don't they? Sure, they do.But you just try to convince yourself"Nah,he can't look away from me" "No way she won't accept me". Then the final put down. You pour your soul out to them, and what do they do?Lets just be friends? No,that's too decent. Now its"huh? you and me?have u seen yourself in the mirror?" It's that sad. There are tears, tears and more self pity. Then comes the rage.I myself look back and remember wishing that I could stab my first love with a 6 inch butcher knife :-D
But still, you'll find a small smile on your face whenever you think of that person....the first love of your teen life.
